The Suikoden 2 108 character guides includes an interview with Murayama, where he says that "Falena lies far far south of Toran, beyond the Island Nations"

There are also a number of other sources that state the same, and it is also mentioned in-game in Suikoden 4.

So the Island Nations are between the main continent and Falena? That seems pretty far away. I guess the battle system will just pretend the two nations are much closer for convenience's sake, because otherwise Falena wouldn't even be a factor.

I really like the map, but it must have been odd for residents of Blight's Bay to one minute see Falena on the horizon, and then *zip* it's gone, way down south.

Well...things haven't changed for my home country, so I don't really think it's a big deal...

Considering the fact that Highland's geography has been set in stone since Suikoden 2, your nation's geography would never go through any changes, obviously.

Except for when it is completly annihilated and absorbed into Dunan.

Even then, Highland won't suddenly turn into an ocean, or be transported north of Harmonia. The map would remain the same.

Oh, but I think it would look better if it went to the opposite side of the continent.

On a more serious note, the map looks much better SARS, very good work. Alot more realsitic, the blob on the east of the map made the island seem to round and artificial.

Well, yeah, but you could technically have screwed around with some of the lesser locations that aren't in the game...but I'm not worried about it, I actually like what you've done to the map anyway. It looks nice.

Heh besides.....moving Falena south gives Harmonia more sea space to which we can exapand into, with our advanced artificial island technology of course (hey we got cloning don't we!!! Don't question our technology.) :P

What technology could you possibly have that could contend with a mobile continent? :P

an invisible moving continent that spawns little islands, maybe??

it looks good; at least we can assess our gains and losses visually, instead of imagining it *what a headache that would be.*

Damn. You got me there Fliktor. Well unless we're capable of lifting our continent off the ground maybe. I'd have to give my friends at Bahamut Lagoon a call for details though. :P

Btw this is the second damn time I'm writing this because I apparently make posts too close to one another. :?

The RPG style floating city... come on, almost all RPGs have one of those...
