You do know they made a Legend of Legaia 2? And there is a Dragon Quest/Warrior 8 in the works.
Xenogears is pretty much a dead series I believe. Square angered the team that made that series. It wasn't Final Fantasy and heaven forbid a series with the Square name on it thats a RPG be more popular than Final Fantasy. Which is also why I believe the Chrono series has yet to have a third game made for it also.
Anywho, the people who made Xenogears all or nearly all quit and now work for Namco and are making the Xenosaga series. Its sorta based on the Gears storyline, but at the same time not. Its really difficult to explain.
Also another series that needs to continue is Earthbound. It was fun, it was quirky and gasp, it was original.

Sybillious, there actually is a sequel to Shining Force 1 and 2. It's not on the Genesis though, its on Sega Saturn. They are or have already come out with Shining Force 1 for GBA though, if you wanna check that out.

nah, handhelds aren't my thing; i prefer platforms like the pc and ps2 to some small screened thing.
saturn is outdated, and i'm not up for buying something just to play one game *kinda like buying the xbox just to play halo 2, y'know?.* i already have an ancient sega genesis collecting dust somewhere...but it would be nice to see it released for ps2. *i can dream, can't i?*

Vandal Hearts has a sequel, its Vandal Hearts II for the same system psx. Its ok, imo alittle harder then VH.
love to see another Saga Frontier (unilimited sucked sooooo bad), or FE for a platform. |

Would probably suck, since the guys who made it left Square-Enix.
In production.
Heavily hinted as being in production (possibly even confirmed).

Dragon Quest VIII was released in Japan last week.

Skies of Arcadia desrves a sequel. Had it been released on the PS2, I'm sure there'd be more people screaming for one. Bring back the dynamic music and ship battles!
