Despite the fact Apple is one of my favorite characters, that is one of the stupidest baby names ever. (Though it doesn't beat Audio Science.)
And what's worse is every FRICKIN' TIME she does an interview we're going to see bad puns like "Apple of Gwyn's Eye", etc. That alone will drive me batty.
Also, on a note related to the article...
After a long labor, Paltrow delivered Apple at a hospital in London, where the couple reside. Weight: 9 pounds, 11 ounces.
Hot damn, that's a big baby! _________________

I'd like to see a child named Neclord. Or even Mid-Boss (ala Disgaea). That'd be great XD

While I like the Apple in Suikoden 3 (Apple in the previous ones suck)
I have to agree that Apple is not the best baby name...
I understand why parents want to give their babies special names, but I think they really should think about how the child will feel like when they grow up with that name -_-
I dont think naming your kids after fruits (ex. strawberry) are such good ideas. It just... feels weird...
I have seen a guy with a first name Rain and last name Forest (Rain Forest) _________________

It has become a rather stupid fad to come up with names for kids that border to commercial slogans. A fad that should have died when the last 60s stoner took his final PCP trip.

Come on, think about your kids teenage years. It's like giving him/her a ticket to the Institute for Mental Welfare. |

I can remember last year i read the new of a guy officially changing his name to Optimus Prime.
I'm still laughing.
There was also this guy that called his son with his own name and a 2.0 after it. (As in, the guy's Andrew, the son is Andrew 2.0) That's one kid that's gonna get screwed up at school. _________________

Hm... wonder if Gwyneth is a Suikoden fan.
While talking about strange names.
Puck, as in Hockey puck(you know that round black thing they slap around), is a name in Sweden. Not a regular one but there is 60 women and 5 men that has the name Puck. We are 9 million BTW.
And of course there is a guy who's name is Super Mario.
And yes, Optimus Prime really is a badass name. _________________ Shiver My Shuriken!! |
