I called it "Vincent May Cry" now, since we have "Yuna May Cry" before.
I think its official that this FF7:DC takes place a year or something after FF7: AC. Well, I think we kind of see it coming when they announced they want to release a movie for FF7. Everyone was comparing how it was similar to that short FFX video they released before FFX-2.
Still, its sad to see squarenix milking all they can from FF7.

I wish they'd let FF7 die already. -_- I enjoyed it well enough as it was. Grr to these sequel prequel whatever things. Grrr.
Vincent, our favorite angsty (vampire thing?) guy. Gah... while I wouldn't want to play something all about happy sunshine and cuddly little flowers, I don't want to be submerged in self-pity, either.

Thats my point exactly. Irvine has no reason to be there. But with Squaresoft lately anything that can make them money they will do. Aeris back to life in Kingdom Hearts. Also it had characters from 3 different Final Fantasies in it. Heck, Aeris was even in Final Fantasy Tactics. They've milked her "death" for all they could already. I wouldn't be suprised if she's in Kingdom Hearts 2.

Aeris being in Kingdom Hearts - I always figured the game was a completely alternative dimension. ;P I doubt she'll be alive in the Final Fantasy VII storyline ... seeing as how it's to be continued for who knows how long (I wouldn't doubt them going on a little further than the three spin-offs already mentioned). If she's resurrected in the "official" storyline and they don't have a REALLY GOOD REASON and METHOD I will be quite annoyed with the company - and then not count any of the sequels as true to the storyline and live in a little bubble believing that Final Fantasy VII didn't change and remains well. :| *Bubble*
