Suikoden III war death's.

Okay sadly to say i have just experienced a death in suikoden III I never noticed it until they had they showed what they do after the war.
Sadly Landis died in the last war battle. I didn't trip off about it until i noticed it said Ceremonial Site Battle.
Now I have to start over from chapter 3 Just obtained the true rune and collect all the 108 stars over again yay =].........

Isn't there a message informing you about the death during the battle?

Though, to be honest, deaths aren't as common in Suikoden III's war battles compared to the rest of the series.

There wasn't really a message telling you the person died i just checked 108 stars and it appears he did die.
