Ibaka grabbed his ear and growled. The bullet had found a chink, a slight opening, a fold where the metal face guard connected to the metal jaw... it wasn't much, but it was something. And there was blood... this pathetic excuse for a human had made him bleed... That was unacceptable!

The catwalk buckled some. Serj couldn't tell how, or why, but soon Ibaka was above him. There was a strange hydraulic sound in the armor as the catwalk crumpled, metal rending as it fell on top of boxes of goods. Serj threw his body weight back, landing on his feet with a thud while Ibaka crashed into the ground, the concrete cracking and cratering beneath him. Before Serj could stand upright, Ibaka had charged him, the powerful legs forcing him forward, giving him blinding speed as he struck Serj in the chest with a powerful metal elbow.

Serj flew back, wincing in pain as he saw Ibaka bearing down. His hand touched the ground and he changed direction, Ibaka flying past and into a crate of munitions. The explosion sent Serj reeling, his body flinging through the air like a rag doll before striking a stake of crates and bouncing off. His body fell to the ground and he was slow getting to his feet. He could feel the pain shooting through his back as he slowly rose.

"W-What happened...?" He asked, dazed from the sudden turn of events. As his eyes focused in the haze, he could see wisps of smoke rising from several areas. The explosion had sent embers and shards of crate all over the shipping warehouse. He couldn't see Ibaka... or what was bound to be left of him. The force of the collision must have triggered the explosion.

His back cracked some as he tried to strand upright. Had he broken it? It was hard to tell, the adrenaline was still flowing through his veins. When it ceased, he might know how much he was hurt.

"You'll... pay... for those... with... your... blood..." A mechanical voice rang from behind him.

Serj's eyes widened and he turned his head, seeing a figure of blackened and smoldering armor indented against the wall. "No... you couldn't have survived that!" Serj yelled.

There was another hissing sound as Ibaka pulled himself from the wall, dropping like an anvil onto the ground below. Serj backed up as Ibaka began to limp toward him. There was another hiss and Ibaka stood up, screaming loudly like a bull who had just been stabbed by a torreo.

What's that hissing sound? Serj thought to himself. It's coming from the suit... Adrenaline? Pain Killers? Steroids? He didn't have much time to think, Ibaka had punched through one of the crates marked "Ohio" and in his hand was a short, stubby gun. Serj tilted his head until he heard a puff of air as Ibaka opened the chamber. "Oh shit..." Serj thought as Ibaka loaded the chambers of the grenade launcher. He's insane! This warehouse is full of explosives! he thought frantically. There was a loud clicking sound as Ibaka finished loading, holding the launcher in one hand.

"What do you bet that I'm better able to survive this than you?" he asked tauntingly as he held the launcher up.

Serj looked around. There were crates full of shells and rockets and grenades and firearms surrounding him. Ibaka intended to get rid of Serj, and he counted on his armor to protect him. Serj's hand glowed. Sure, there was bound to be a magic-dampening field, but he had no other choice. There was another hissing sound, Ibaka getting another boost. To help with the pain from the previous explosion? Or the gunshot? Or maybe it was to make him more alert? It came at intervals, every few minutes... was it being rationed? Could it be overloaded? Did it even matter at this point?

The grenade launcher's chamber emptied with a loud swoosh of air. Serj screamed, his hand glowing more and more brightly as he fired the energy at the grenade.

It wasn't likely this fight would be dragged on much longer.
