Mainly to do with how the teams there manage to be so magical and crappy at the same time. Werder Bremen are favorites to clinch the UEFA Cup, yet they're languishing in midtable in the league. Bayern are hot and cold too... thrashed Sporting Lisbon only to play horribly against a Barcelona side on full gear. Hoffenheim were contenders... until Ibisevic got ruled out, now they've been playing so bad (think of them as a German version of how Hull City's fallen... though not that bad). Hertha were playing well until recently, too. I'm just waiting to see if Wolfsburg can stave off Bayern and Hamburg for the Bundesliga or if they're just going to fall by the wayside. Even moreso that Bayern just sacked Klinsmann and Martin Jol (Hamburg guy) is a favorite to succeed him, so the two are a bit of a spot right now.

That, and the fact that Jens Lehmann is up to his old tricks again. :lol:

While it borders on being disrespectful, you can't deny that Evra's got a point. Captain Cesc, for most part, never made an impact. Walcott and RVP were let down by their teammates unproductivity, Gibbs made a comical error, Almunia essentially let the tie-ending goal in by being in the middle of nowhere. And Adebayor was truly childish, Rio marked him out of the game and he retorts by stamping on Carrick. At the very least, it shows that Arsenal have a promising future - Nasri was their best player, and Eboue was actually good you had to wonder why Wenger didn't even start him.

The match might've been different if Arshavin played, though. You kinda wonder what would've happened if Wenger signed him in the last summer instead of winter. Arsenal could still be fighting for silverware right now.

If Chelsea played the final I'd support Barca but since it's ManU I will support ~~Cristiano~~ Manchester United. I have to watch the game in a hotel bar and I hope I'll behave .
