I think I should share (and also promote ^^) some of my favorite musicians from my country (Indonesia) here.

First one is a boy who recently debuted in Indonesian music scene named Afgan. He doesn't have a look, but he got great singing talent (in fact, he's discovered by a music producer in a Karaoke club). The album got number 1 in Indonesia, and he a also got some success in our neighbouring countries (Malaysia, Sing, etc.). Another fact, he's my underclassman at university  , two years below. Anyway, his song mainly consist of jazzy pops and easy listening ballads. His second single, "Sadis", is really nice (I usually didn't really like ballad, but this is really nice), here's the youtube link:

The second is form a jazzy band, Maliq and D'essential. If there's one thing that Indonesia was well known, it's their International Java Jazz Festival, and Maliq is a regular performer there, every year. Their music aren't exactly jazz though, it's like a mix of pop, jazz, and R&B. I especially love their latest single, Dia, which is here:

and also Heaven:

And lastly, a new band that is very popular right now, D'Masiv. My feeling for this band is mixed, some are good, some are quite bad, but their latest single isquite good, here it is, "Diantara Kalian":

Any comment is appreciated. If you like it, please tell me so I could post another ones from another musicians that I like.
