For those not glued to Smash Forums there was a leak from Nintendo, They had a video which accidentally confirmed Ness, Jigglypuff, and Lucario.

It wasn't really confirmed, it was just stickers of their faces. A lot of people seem pretty intent on calling that a confirmation, but let's wait for now.

Regarding how they appear, do they appear as stickers, like the subspace emissary stickers, or like something else?

I am sad at one of the character not returning, I am surprised a few others are. Other than that, I am really happy with the list.

I assume it's Roy you're disappointed about? I wouldn't worry much. It appears that Ike is just a retooled form of that character, so he isn't so much of a Marth clone.

What's pissing me off is that all three of the Star Fox characters have the same Final Smash-- the Landmaster. There's a running gag at all sorts of sites with things like "TANK BATTLE" and "tanks for everybody!", which has all the characters photoshopped in their own Landmaster with their respective color.

Actually, it is Mew Two that I am sad about. I figured that Marth would be an Ike clone, so I thought they would take Roy out. I am suprised Wind Waker Link is in it. I thought they would get rid of clones, but it appears they didn't.

I hear Lucario retains some of Mewtwo's attacks, but he isn't as... dancy/floaty and... Ness-clone-like. So I'd be on the lookout for him.

The Fire Emblem characters aren't very cloney, actually. So I'm pleased in that regard.

Clones are still pretty much a problem, though. I'm not sure about Ganondorf, but God I hope he isn't as dumb as he was in Melee. The Star Fox trio are gigantic clones. Just as Falco was supposed to be the power form of Fox in Melee, they took it one step further with Wolf. It seems the really want to cater to everyone who takes Fox seriously, giving them any sort of balance of speed and power.

Arevus, yes, Luigi and Peach play the same. I've seen Luigi perform his Luigi Missile in matches, and Peach's moveset has been shown to be the same.

Sialeeds, that's a good question, and I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. After each cut-scene, the game prompts you to choose a lead character and a partner. I'd be willing to bet Player 2 could jump in.
