Yes, that was more in reference with the song of the pirates to the pirate lords I believe.
I was aware Orlando Bloom wished to leave the Pirates movies, but I did hear about both of them leaving. So I suppose this is why they showed Elizabeth and the child in the end.

| The pirates movies have always had a scene after the credits. In the first movie, it was the monkey swimming back and grabbing a gold piece. In the second movie, it was the dog with the cannibals. |

It is said that Elizabeth Turner staying loyal and unmarried waiting for Will to come back ten years later lifts the curse permanently. It's not shown in that after-credits clip but it will be in the dvd in one of the deleted scenes. I think it's an appropriate ending to this particular trilogy.

Went and seen the film on Saturday, and I liked it big much! The plot is a bit packed though and at times I found myself a tad confuddled - typical DW nature...
**Mild Spoilers**
I was well chuffed with the appearance of Keith Richards as Jack's father. I thought that was sha-veet! I liked that he went and jammed on his guitar as well. Hah. Lurvely.
I also liked little refrences back to the first film for example the two guards guarding Davy Jones' chest, and Jack quietly sneaking away with the chest. I thought that was a nice touch.
Also, I liked the fact that Rakagi's eye was actually important! Haha.

It's just a real shame they left it out and the majority of people who watched it and left before the ending scene took place will think they botched the story line or something.
Unless they watch the DVD or something... |

| I'm so glad it's over. I'm tired of these scene kids being all about pirates. The next asshole who says "Savvy?" to me is getting punched in the throat. I prefer most of Depp's other work to these 3 films. |
