Um, I am pretty sure that I might have asked this before, but I wasn't given a definate answer so I kinda want to ask again.

Can you post a bounty for information? Lets say for example that Highland puts up a bounty with a reward of say 1,000,000 potch for info leading to the capture/hideout of Sigurd the Balck, is this possible?

Sure can. Do so at your own descretion though since it may be revealing and also could lead to be being misinformed. Not all leads will turn up well, some will be dead ends, but others may turn out well. I'd say that usually Bounties on individuals will have the best results since it's more tangible.

Plus the kill or capture itself would be much more rewarding than information on the target.

That entirely depends on what information is requested. If you know where your enemy will be and you know what regiment they are you can then keep all the spoils bar payment for information in house. Likewise if you also pay for information regarding opinions on how specific people react to certain situations you could very well get a benefit in planning.

That's true, but I doubt mercenaries will want to go on adventures to get information, they'll want action, and not dialogue.

I would think a mercenary would want to go on an adventure to get paid. That would be the point of being a mercenary, in the classical sense. Why wouldn't they be willing to do an information gathering run for someone who was willing to pay to have one done?

Because mercenaries want victory counts more than pay, unless it is their first adventure. The pay is a big factor though.

We are a generous people.... (if you couldn't tell I'm grinning ear to ear). I'm glad to have a veteran mercenary like yourself give us a thumbs up. Iscalio actually instruced me to raise one of the rewards so I'm not the only generous one here. It is important to make the rewards worthwhile and I was hoping to do that.
