The Super Bowl is 39 hours from kickoff. Does anyone have any plans for the Big Show? Going to a Sports bar, having a party, watching it for the commercials? Huh? Any plans? I'm probably going to end up with a plate of spicy chicken wings and doritos and watch it in the comfort of my living room. I can't say I have much interest in the outcome of the game, but it should be a good one nonetheless.

Also any more predictions for the game? Now that we know T.O. is playing and Richard Seymour is going to play a limited amount of snaps, does that change anybody's opinions?

This Super Bowl reminds me of the one a few years back between the Bucs and the Raiders: I hated both teams, but I hated the Bucs more. Therefore, I rooted for the Raiders... and what a disaster that turned out to be. I still think the Pats will win this one because of their experience if nothing else, but I've been wrong before. *shrug*

31-21 Pats

Oh, BTW, here in Las Vegas, some casinos actually have betting lines up as to whether Paul McCartney will drop his pants at halftime, in honor of the Janet Jackson incident! :D

Gonna go out with a female friend of mine for dinner for my birthday because she's been busy and this is the first oppertunity we have had. The I will come home and eat mexican food, chicken wings and have some hard alchohol while I sit back and watch the football game on tape commercials included then come online and spout some drunk blubbering nonsense on some of the many forums I am a part of. Like this one but hey thats ok and things will be all good and fine since most other people will be pretty drunk too. Except those too young to be drunk in which case they will be on a sugar high.

Me and my dorm mates will be partying hard tomorrow, lots of food and drink, though I'm alcohol free myself. It should be a good game, and I'm rooting for my hometown (kinda) New England Patriots...although I'm not totally discounting the Eagles, but more than likely the Pats will win. Then again, most of the people don't really care, they're all Giants/Bills/Jets fans anyway.

I have about half a forty of Cuban Libation (Can I say the 'C' word here?), so tonight I'm going to drink that while eating chicken wings nad hanging with a few friends in my house. Last year I went to a sports bar, and it was fun. I always find a way to have fun on Super Bowl Sunday.

20-14 Patriots. I like the Eagles alot, but no one messes with the Pats dynasty.

A few people decide to just choose the Eagles for the sake of being different, and suddenly it's a bandwagon?

Patriots 27, Eagles 14.

Say what? I wasn't calling anyone on this board bandwagon.

I am jumping on the Eagles bandwagon today. Meaning, I'm rooting for them to win today. Now, if you can find anything in my previous post where I called someone on this forum a bandwagon fan, please let me know. But thats besides the point, you completely misintepreted what I said.

Here is one more explanation.

The Eagles are the underdog, correct Lebenengal? Lots of people are hoping for them to dethrone the Patriots, and so am I. So yes, in a sense, I've joined the Eagles bandwagon for today. Bandwagon, isn't always a negative remark. Some people have been on their teams wagon since the day their franchise formed.

Some of your assumptions are way off base... Nitpicking about such small details doesn't do much for anyone.

Enjoy the game. Have a fun Superbowl everyone. Go Iggles!

Well, in my location it's now T-minus 23 minutes to kick off. I just got back from the gorcers store and have a two litre bottle of Coke. I don't know how long I'll be here for now, but I'll come back at Half Time and after the premier of American Dad.

While I am enjoying the game and all it's cool commercials and such I have found the game to be somewhat boring so far considering that only two touchdowns or scores period for that matter have been made so far. While I am not complaining considering I would like Philadelphia to win and so far they arent losing but it gets a little boring after awhile with nothing but defence defence defence. Now give me a few more touchdowns from the Eagles and i'll be happy.

Uh, and I wasn't saying that, either. It's not a bandwagon. People picking the Eagles are well in the minority, and a bandwagon is a trend. There is no such thing as an Eagles bandwagon at this time.

Bandwagon, whatever... It doesn't matter, now. If anything the Patriots were more of a bandwagon that people are jumping on, being the best and all. People who want to see the Eagles win are either Eagles fans all along, or people that just want to see a new champion. I would've fallen under the latter category...

Of course- I'm happy to see the Patriots win, but mostly because I'm a Tom Brady fan. He's U of Mich. alumni, further proving the greatness of Michigan College football.

At it stands, The Patriots pick up another Vince. Good job Tom Brady, you played a hell of a game. Also, Terrel owens deserves a major nod for coming back and giving one heck of a performance. All in all, it was a really great game. The two most dissapointing plays were in the last Eagles series. Frickin' Westbrook CATCHING the ball at the line of scrimmage, and of course, the McNabb interception that sealed the fate of the Eagles.

The Eagles defintely deserve a round of applause for keeping the Patriots on the edge, as it isn't easy to keep them close. Bill Bilicheck is a heck of a coach, and his status among the all-time elite playoff coaches is well-deserved. The Patriots are OFFICIALLY a dynasty, and I couldn't be happier about the fact that they are led by a University of Michigan alumnist on the field.

As for good individual performances, Corey Dillon played pretty good out there, picking up a couple of scores. He might deserve MVP, but then again, we can't forget that Terrell Owens just came off a pretty serious injury and made an awesome impact on the game there. McNabb didn't impress me too much, as he did make a couple of bad decisions. Tom Brady displayed his usual composure on the field. He really looked like a true team leader. I'm not sure, maybe the pressure got to McNabb, forcing some bad throws in there. It's ok, though. The Eagles are a great team, so don't think this is the last you're going to hear about them. Of course, they might also be destined to be a cursed team, much like the great Buffallo Bills were, under Jim Kelly and Marv Levy. Only time will tell, folks.

Well, that's it for another awesome season of professional NFL football! Draft time will be coming up in a little while, so we'll have to keep our eyes peeled. Naturally, I'll be interested to see who the Detroit Lions will be picking up. Honestly, their last draft was possibly the best in team history, if not for sure the best of 2004. Roy Williams, Kevin Jones. Totally awesome picks. If Steve Mariucci can pull another great draft off, who knows? It COULD be home field advantage for the "D" on Super Bowl Sunday, next year!!!

Or not....

lol Seriously, though... It's good to see that the crappy Lions ARE actually on the right track. I'm a pretty harsh critic of them, but mostly because of their ownership. Next season will let us know a little more about them, and if they're REALLY on the rise. Only time will tell...

On that note, we can't forget about the Eagles. More than likely, they're going to be a force, next year. With Rothlissburger having a year of experience under his belt, the Steelers might actually be the ones to take the Patriots down, next year. That is, if the rest of the team holds up as well. Can't forget about the Colts, though. Great offense, but not-so great defense... Their defense was young this year, and I can only see them improving next year. Also, Manning, Harrison, and James aren't quite past their prime, so they should a force next year, too. Packers, unfortunately will probably lose Favre, either next year, or the year after. The man is still good, but it looks like that team will be going through some changes...

Any other team predictions for next year? For the Lions, I think a lot will depend on drafts and free-agency. They NEED some D-line and O-line! If they can fix some holes there, they might be able to make the playoffs next year... But, again, we'll have to see! Let's hear your thoughts! :D
