I think Underated RPG's are the Shadow Hearts Series. They have everyhing someone would want in an RPG. But the Ring is a little hard if you play it for 36 hours straight. also the Wild Arms Series. I'm sure it has probably already been mentioned here. But all 3 are good games. 2 was the best in my opinoin. |

some really good underated rpgs would be: soulblazer, that game was really good, but since it was on the SNES, it is underated (it was underated even when the SNES was still a good system, now that I think of it)
another one would be Brain Lord, but again, since it was on the SNES, it was doomed
and then there was the shining force 1 and 2, which were really great games, but like the above two games, since it was on the sega genisis it was doomed to be underated (but Im not even sure if those are considered RPGs... more like a war strategy) _________________ jobs are for people who cant fish |

For a good and underrated game, try LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue. WHoever said L1 makes it look crappy...for shame! I think the game was a big step ahead of L1. I like the characters the best, more than any other RPG.
And both of the Dark Cloud games are really good, but Dark Cloud II is by far the better of the two, but DC is still worth a play, since it costs about $5. |

I think all the Shining series console games are underrated. Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force 1, 2 & III and Shining The Holy Ark.
Panzer Dragoon Saga is also quite underrated.
Good luck finding Shining Force III, Shining The Holy Ark & Panzer Dragoon Saga. Ever. They were among the last batch of games made for the Saturn and easily rival Suikoden II in price at eBay.

I love the Lunar games. I have them on Sega CD, PSOne and GBA. I prefer the first game myself. But Luna and Lucia are equally annoying. |
