[Phase 12] Mercenary adventure in Falena

Chasing after the fugitive Bartholomew, Arenegeth, Lonelion, and Wes set out from the Island Nations toward Falena on Arenegeth's ship, The Black Dragon. One the way they are attacked by some sea monsters--

After the battle the mercenaries manage to arrive at Estrise. A letter from Arthur de la Croix allows them to enter with little problem due to good relations between the two nations.

The mercenaries look for information on Bartholomew along with their entire mercenary troops. Through their efforts, they learn than a "man with a strange cup appeared at Lordlake." The mercenaires quickly head to Lordlake and discover that a man has appeared out of nowhere and started healing people and producing water from his palms with the aid of a powerful rune. The mercenaries soon find out that this man is Bartholomew, and sucessfully find him healing sick villager in a clinic. After a brief exchange, a duel ensues between Arenegeth and Bartholomew!

Bartholomew: Hmph, they've caught up havn't they... but I have a purpose I must fulfill.

Bartholomew is captured and tied up. He explains that the rune is useless in the hands of Kanakan, and that it can be used for a greater purpose. He says he must continue to Nagarea which has been suffering from a plague. He pleads to be released.

It will be up to the mercenaries whether they will proceed to Nagarea in the next phase, or take Bartholomew back to Kanakan next phase.
