I wouldn't mind being a bum for about a month. Any longer than that though and I start to burn through way too much money and get really apathetic.

In a month I would probably be able to get through most of the games I've bought but never played.

Treasure your bum time, kids!

I second that. If you're good at managing your time or really good at what you're doing you can usually milk a good chunk of time out per month. Then again, it's all in the luck of the draw.

Over spring break I was able to squeeze in a lot of game time however I picked up Suikoden V on the tail end so I was cramming over Thursday and Friday and the weekend. Now it seems I'm lucky to get in one hour a week.

You guys can use the rest time, to play. You don't need any sleep! You need games!

No seriously, you can find time if you do multiple things at the same time. Like eat while you play or something like that.

I commonly play at night when my lil bro and cousins are sleeping.

I don't have a lot of time to play because we only have one TV set and everyone wants to watch tv.

I commonly don't have much time to play video games. At the moment, I'm doing two jobs, plus college. Since I want to do some travelling during the summer, I need to actually pick up more hours at one of those jobs, which will slice into my gaming time even further. It's alright, though, the only game I have to play at the moment is Suikoden V. And finish Shadow of the Colossus. And...well, I'll just depress myself going that route.

It's a good thing I haven't got a girlfriend anymore, or I'd never get anything done.

It'd be nice if one of my get rich quick schemes finally paid off, so that I could retire and become a worthless layabout with an agonizingly vast fortune. That would allow me plenty of time to play video games, while existing off of the interest accrued from my bank account. It's the perfect plan. :)

Well, I get my free time by interdimensional travel and a time slowing agent made from combining Parmesan cheese with olive oil and Windex.

Serioulsy, I'm disabled so I don't work and I'm not in school at the moment so that leaves me with a scad of free time. This allowed me to zoom through Suikoden V 3 times already. Yeah... I'm that skilled. Each play through was a good 50 or so hours. 2 were fresh plays and the last was through a New Game Plus.

I do have a social life though. Two nights ago I went bowling and sprained my hand.... my good hand. The video gaming hand. Luckily Suikoden has a 1 handed alternative. Good ol' L1 and L2 buttons :).

Right now though I've started playing Radiata Stories and this is one game you can NOT beat in one play through (because you have to pick a path part way in where you either help humans or non-humans.) and to add to the insanity there are 177 characters that are recruitable. Also, if that wasn't bad enough they all move around the city so at one point in time the person you want to recruit might not be where you last saw them. GAH! So I actually bought a strategy guide for this game (the first strategy guide I've bought since Secret of Mana for the SNES)

This game is one of those monotonous games you don't want to play through more than once, but for completions sake you do. Gah.... I agree with Sophita on the cheap replay value these games make by hiding lot in the replay. Really crappy.

Well, in my case I just got a cold so I haven't been going out. Little more time on my hands there. I work a normal full time desk job, and school is long ago in my past, so I usually have evenings and weekends free for whatever. Unless I'm involved in a theater project...then I usually barely have time for sleep. That doesn't usually happen more than once or twice a year for 6 weeks or so though.

I pretty much gave up on being a completionist for that game. I played through once each on both sides, but that was mostly because I was trying desperately to like the game more for some reason. There was something about the game that made me want to like it, but it just kinda never really made it. I still can't explain it months later. >_<

Well this last couple of days I haven't played any games (I don't count, eh, doing something with Suikoden II playing), but will probably load up Way of the Samurai 2 in a while, but...

I really miss the old days, I woke up, no matter the time noon, morning night, time was (and is) irrelevant, I grabbed the controller booted my game or games at the time and went at it until I was too tired to go on, then sleep and repeat the next day...

Of course that still happens, but is a lot rarer now; I did it with Suikoden V lately but its hard for a game to keep me glued on the screen all day long these last couple of years...

Now I'm an adult with "life" and I bother my self with the woes of reality all the time but again I miss the old carefree days...

Now unless a game really affects me, I mostly play 1 to 6 hours a day, not every day of course but in intervals, I wish I could get more time actually, with my obsessive compulsive nature I tend to completely-complete games, I mean I tend to get everything a game has to offer all hidden characters and all that crap, that is the only way I feel I got my money's worth, of course some games have lame extras and they are just not worth my time, on some games I just do the side-quests based on linage more than that particular game (FFX is a good example I don't particularly like it but I want to perfect it because is a FF)...

If you are a teen with a lot of game-time in your hands make sure to make the most of it, it won't last forever...

Playing tons of games is easy: just neglect all other things such as school work and social life. Those things aren't as important.

Right now, I'm a senior in high school. That means I have 16 hours of free time a day, not counting sleep. So I have more a lack of games than free time. So gimme yours! >:o

I am hoping that whatever I do isnt overly time consuming. My friend has actually based her entire life around gaming. She lives very frugally, works about 4 hours a day at a Mcdonalds or something, and plays the rest of the time. She says she usually has enough money at the end of each month to get another game. Oh, she's 28 BTW.

Indeed, I mean, if you are satisfied with having only that much, then that's all you need.

Currently exams, but since I'm doing a specialisation year (bakery if you'd care :P) and the guys tht did it at a lower difficulty (easiest way to explain) I got only 3 exams and the other guys got 7-8 of em so that gives me some time already then, I start a testing period of bout 2 month in a bakery, but since to our contract we ain't aloud to do more then 6-8 hrs it leaves me some gaming time ^^
and luckily it does

with all these games :S
Dragon Quest: Journey of the cursed king
Fable
Guild Wars +expansion (soon)
Biosfear (small online game with a monthly fee)
WoW (you know what it stands for :P)
Tomb Raider Legends
& also replaying Primal in between ofm all

Ah, MMORPGS tend to sap away time from other games immensely. I just passed 28 days (24 hrs each) on FFXI.
