Tinto set out to the southwest from Silver Lake, exploring towards Seek Valley. On the way, they discovered a small keep, inhabited only by an old summoner by the name of Sigismund. After some initial misunderstandings, Sigismund and Tinto forces head to Seek Valley to seal monsters that have been multiplying (Sigismund has been trying to seal them, but Tinto interrupted his ritual).
Around that time, Scarlet Moon Empire was also on their way to Seek Valley after the exploration party discovered the Dragon's Den. There, they received Joshua Levenheit's agreement to rent out his dragon knights in exchange of anonymity. They were also asked to investigate Seek Valley with the aid of Dragon Knights headed by vice captain Anos. SME forces duly left on the dragon's back, and as they approached Seek Valley, saw that Tinto forces were fighting against a massive hoarde of monsters, ready to be anniholated.
SME forces swept in to help the Tinto forces, who have already lost considrable numbers. The two nations fight side by side, but monsters continued to appear from a summoning gate, kept open by a Crystal Core.
Things seemed to be hopeless as a group of mercnearies appeared (Arenegeth, Barbarosa Rugner, and Sadness). The three mercenaries already defeated monsters elsewhere, but decided to help out the two nations. Together, the three forces manage to hold all the monsters at bay, allowing Sigismund enough time to unsummon the Crystal Core. All monsters disappeared as the gate closed, spelling the end to this epic battle.
As each faction left the area, they found various kinds of treasures.
