Ack!! How many times will I have to reset before that swindler gives me a tunic of prosperity?! Does it take lots of tries to get it, or do I have to play more than 10 games? |

I have no idea. I won a few times with the 5000 potch bet before I got bored and left. I hate that game. *short attention span*
I wish they'd bring back Chinchirorin. _________________

It seems like they've almost got enough of these type of mini-games to put together a Suikoden Casino game. I know the cooking game is almost everybody's favourite, so it would be a bit tough to find out how to incorporate it into such a game, unless it was a contest in the casino's cafeteria.
I don't remember too much about the mini-games in Suikoden III, so I guess I should get to replaying the games soon so I can also get in the Suikoden mood for when Suikoden IV is released in English. _________________

I think there is a trick; just play your cards from the largest to the smallest (or the other way around, cant remember clearly -.- ) _________________

In my oppinion, the mini-game in Suikoden 3 is the worst of the three Suikoden... _________________

Heh I'd have to agree with you Schala........ nothing good came from the games in Suiko 3 besides frustration at mikes game of tricky blackjack........ and Billy's game was way too easy........... _________________ "The light in my eyes may have faded, but the light in my soul continues to shine."

Billy's game of "Guppo" was ridiculous. It's called "War"!
But i don't think Mike's game "Kabu" was that bad. It was fun. But i didn't care for the card games at all in III. _________________ Guardian of Greenhill & Devoted Protector of Oulan

Discounting Nadir's Theatre, Goppu is a mini-game that I didn't mind playing in III. Kabu and the Horse Riding were too plain. While the Lottery wins the worst mini-game in Suikoden series... har. |

I never bothered with the mini-games in Suikoden III. They are the worst in the series in my opinion. |

Here's a trick with Billy's game. Pick the red deck. He'll have to take the black deck which will make it easier to see what cards he has and doesn't have. I actually won the game on the first try when I picked the red deck. Then again, I understood the game a lot better. You need 46 points(or something like that) to win, so just watch his cards and play accordingly. _________________

Either choosing your cards from smallest to largest, or largest to smallest (I honestly don't remember which works best, I think smallest to largest,) and playing them in order normally guarantees victory. Its not as if Suikoden created any monstrous AI to do its best to beat you. Just hit him with your big cards and he goes down without a fight. |

I never thought the mini-games in Suikoden III were that bad, I just wish they were more rewarding. In Goppu, I found I was able to almost consistently beat him not using any lame strategy like 'use your highest to lowest or lowest to highest' or tricks, but actually by thinking about the moves and using strategy. Kabu was alright. The lottery would have been much better if it cycled faster. It sucks when you buy lottery tickets, go off halfway across the world map, go into a dungeon and fight the treasure boss, come back, and you still have to wait for the numbers to come in. |

That's the only mini game I disliked in S3. The Lottery.
Ah well, it could have been worse. _________________

The thing about Kabu is that its just a game of chance, a game of chance which you have more chance of losing than winning because you have to go first.
It's not fun in the slightest, just frustrating. |

I try not to get into to many of the mini-games except for the cooking game and the ckimbing game from Suikoden II because they just get on my nerves something fierce. I especially hated Chinchirorin, that game totally bites. _________________
