So, the other day I was fooling around with my tarot cards, doing simple three card spreads to determine some characters I was going to make for an RPG, and I accidently stumbled upon the basic plot outline for Suikoden V.

Reversed Tower, Moon, Reversed Empress.

Now, basically, this indicates a sudden rebelliosness (R. Tower), a desire to stay on your path no matter how difficult it is, as well as overcoming deception (Moon), and tyrannical mother-figure and emotional blackmail (R. Empress).

Which means, of course, that I have MAJIKAL Tarot cards. However, I had to be sure. I shuffled the cards, concentrating on the True Rune of the game (Keep in mind that, at the time, I didn't know what it was). First card flipped? The Sun.

Except for the "Tyrannical Mother Figure" That's pretty much the plot of all the games.

So that is what you think will happen in suiko5 wel i dont know but it sounds allright to me. I dont get how you could have done that but hey i cant ask that can i?

Suikoden 5 sure does reinforce the idea that the True Runes are based on the Major Arcana of the tarot deck. The "Sun Rune" was predicted based on the tarot more than a year ago in one of my editorials. The dawn rune was actually proposed as a rune for a fan-made fiction focused on Falena (which also included a young female as the main strategist).

anyway, thats pretty intersting, I wonder what else you could do a reading for, prehaps somthing outlandish, like one of the forum naiton's future?
