Well, mine would be Yuri/Uru from Shadow Hearts I and II.. he's powerful has hell, badass like no other.. some cool quotes he's got under the sleeve, and a pretty awesome background too.

seeing my list, most are from old RPG, especially the number one LoL.
The game is ogre battle from SNES, and it's my favorite game, ever.

Yeah, the game is really great. the main hero's name is Denim (a really silly name), in case you forget, Streetlight Manifesto.
Don't you know that the team that made tactics Ogre is the same as the one who made Final Fantasy Tactic?

Anyway, can someone give me info regarding to the new Ogre game and Vandal Hearts series, or an english site dedicated for them? any help would be really appreciated.

I think my most favorable hero is Maya Amano from persona 2 and that is because she is... beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, utterly beautiful, and other things like the mystery and charm of her character.

My other favorite heroes are...

Harle from Chrono Cross (I know that she isn't a main hero but for me she is) because she is funny, charming, and a dark side beauty.

Justin and Fina from Grandia (it's a tie) because they are the perfect couple and not forgetting that Grandia is my first RPG game, so that makes sense.

Prier from La Pucelle and Laharl from Disgaea because they both are wicked, funny, and powerful.

Alex and Luna from Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete because they are my second favorite pair (most beautiful pair).

Squall and Rinoa from Final Fantasy 8 (don't know but I think there is something between me and couples :) )

The Last ones are the three heroes of Suikoden 3 (Chris, Geddoe, and Hugo).

There are a lot of other heroes I like but I wouldn't like to bore you from the long list. :wink:

In my opinion, most RPG heroes just...kinda...suck. But I do like a few of course. Ramza from FFT was cool, optimistic and all, always trying to do the "honorable" thing. I like Meis from Thousand Arms just because he's so bloody funny. :D Same for Musashi, who's always called "Sir Little Turd" in game. :P

My favorite CHARACTER, villain this time not a hero, is Sephiroth from FF7. He was so kick ass. :D And I loved it when he kept telling Cloud the truth, but Cloud just kept thinking it was lies. Poor poor, stupid Cloud. :roll:

Solstice i was always under the impression that Sephiroth done nothing but burn a defenceless mountain village and stab a few villagers, he's just in a crater somewhere and it was JENOVA controlling Sephiroth clones/illusions/whatever.
Ghaleon, Ramirez and Kefka are my favourite villians and are way cooler than Sephiroth ever was.
However since this is about heroes my favourites are...

Sheena from Suikoden 1/2-Because he's a lazy bastard who always hits on girls and almost always gets turnt down, like me =(. I also like his 'grope and run' methods =D

Laharl from Disgaea-It makes a change from all the heroes are all goody two shoes, abd that's why i LOVE Laharl.
A wicked little demon who thirsts for more power, and he's hilarious to boot.

Frog from chrono trigger-A goody two shoes hero i like, the stuff he says and his entire style are great and his theme is one of the best pieces of music i've ever heard.

Ryudo-well he's just coolness personified, same as Laharl except Ryudo isn't a little demon who thirsts for power.
He's a geohound who thirsts for money AND power!

My personal favourite hero is Ash from Vandal Hearts.

It's been a long time since I played that game, but I remember that he seems to personify everything about being a hero.

Some of my favouite RPG heroes, at least the ones I can think of at the moment (including supporting characters, with the main hero italicized.):

Suikoden: Tir, Gremio, Hix & Tengaar, Futch, Ted, Viktor, Flik
Suikoden II: Riou, Jowy
Suikoden III: Hugo, Chris, Geddoe & Thomas and Geddoe's Team (Ace, Joker, Queen & Jacques)
Arc the Lad: Arc, Kukuru, Tosh
Arc the Lad II: Elc (of course), Lieza, Shu
Arc the Lad III: Alec, Lutz
Arc the Lad IV: Kharg & Darc
Chrono Cross: Serge, Karsh, Glenn,
Final Fantasy IV: Cecil, Kain, Tellah
Final Fantasy VII: Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine
Final Fantasy VIII: Squall Leonhart and Laguna. Robin Williams also made a good Cid.
Final Fantasy IX: Zidane, Vivi
Final Fantasy X: Tidus, Auron

Though not actually an "RPG" hero, Link from The Legend of Zelda is one of my favourites. (Not the cel-shaded Link, the other one)

I really need to get back to playing my RPGs. It seems like it's been forever since I've played any of them.
