[Phase 5] Falena vs. Harmonia at Dusumnek [Concluded]

Queendom of Falena vs Harmonia at Dusumnek

Upon hearing the news that Harmonia lost yet another battle at Caleria, the morale of the army had hit the lowest mark. The soldiers started to question whether it was worth it or not to serve the great Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. Despite the declining morale within the army, all the soldiers were on alert at once when they heard the horn being blown by the watchmen on the scouting towers. The army of Queendom of Falena had advanced from the port and started to approach the main city of Dusumnek.

Nutflush, the governor of Dusumnek, rallied his troops to defend the city, "For the glory of the Holy Kingdom Harmonia!!!!!!"

The troops answered with the deafening roar of loyalty. But as the army of the Falenians edged closer, it was apparent that a one on one duel was what the invaders wanted to do. A man wearing full armor dismounted his horse and approached the Harmonians by himself.

"I challenge you to a duel, Harmonia. Send me your best, and we shall conclude this day without unnecessary deaths," said the Falenian.

The Governor, Nutflush, noticed that it was Lord Dredd, the Sovereign's Sword of Queendom of Falena. Realizing that he would be a very tough combatant, Nutflush immediately refused to accept the duel challenge. While most of the Harmonian soldiers agreed to the decision, there were some who felt that it was the last straw to their patience. 4600 soldiers had left Harmonia's army.

Lord Dredd muttered to himself in disgust after his challenge was rejected. "The cowardice of the Harmonians shall be written in the history after the Queendom of Falena take over Dusumnek," yelled the Falenian loudly.

In the meantime, at the Falenian's camp, the Queen herself knew that Nutflush was the leader of his famous cavalry unit, The Warrior Priest. She then decided to lead her own unit of magicians, thinking that they would easily annihilate the opponent. Nutflush smirked and then gave the signal to send out Axis and his unit, The Haro Army to battle the Queen. As Queen Sophita led her 56,791 magicians to the battlefield, it was too late when she noticed that instead of the expected cavalry unit, they were facing the archers of Harmonians. The magicians tried their best to cast magic spells, but Axis went even quicker, ordering his 12,150 archers to take aim and launch the attack. Arrows after arrows rained upon The Binapple Uqeen magicians. Some of them tried to cast magical barriers, but they were all ineffective and easily pierced through by the arrows.

Queen Sophita noticed that there was no hope for her unit to survive, but the loyalty of the magicians was not to be questioned. One by one, the magicians used their own bodies to protect the Queen, knowing that the Falenian army needed their queen to win the battle. Protected by the human shields, despite her own protest of such action, Queen Sophita finally managed to retreat to the Falenian camp. She took the bloodie battlefield and realized that she had just lost all of her magicians while no enemy was killed. Satisfied with the victory, Axis led his archers back to the Harmonian camp.

The Dusumnek's Governor then decided to lead his own unit for the next attack. Still being treated for her injury by the medical team, Queen Sophita sent out Patriach and his 15,027 archers. Unfortunately for the Queendom of Falena, Patriach's archers could not manage to keep up with the heavily armored cavalrymen The Warrior Priest. As the Royal Guard of the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia, the cavalry managed to minimize the casualties, just losing 3,757 soldiers while they managed to kill 9,003 of the Harmonian archers.

Angered and frustrated by the two successive defeats, Queen Sophita ordered Patriach and his unit to retreat. Nutflush noticed that the opponent had lost their will to fight and let the archers returned to their camp, while he, himself, led his unit back to Dusumnek. The Harmonian soldiers cheered the return of their Governor and they were excited by the victory for the day. At last, good news for the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia.

Queendom of Falena vs Harmonia at Dusumnek

The sun had risen for the second day of the battle between the Queendom of Falena and the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. The Harmonian camp was filled with joy and optimism that they would be able to send the Falenians back to their nation after the previous day's victory. On the other hand, the Queendom of Falena's camp was filled with anger of the lost the day before. They were determined to get revenge and take over the port city of Dusumnek.

As the Falenians prepared themselves in their camp, Lord Dredd approached Queen Sophita and asked whether she was ready to lead the army once again or not. The queen gave a silent nod, with the thought of her lost magicians still lingered inside her head, she was determined to get payback. "Gather all the captains in the War Tent. Briefing would be done in 10 minutes," ordered the queen.

The Harmonian army stayed inside the walls of the city under Nutflush's order. Fully knowing that they had the upper hand, they were willing to play the waiting game to force the Falenian army to come out first. They did not have to wait that long because the horn was blown by the watchmen to signal the attack by the Queendom of Falena. Governor Nutflush asked for the regiment type of the Falenians, but the watchmen were not able to come up with a definite answer.

Nutflush then decided to send the magicians under smush88's leadership out of the city's gate. The magicians positioned themselves to focus their magic spell together, unfortunately for them, the sky was then filled with the arrows sent out by the 16,247 archers led by Solstice. The Harmonian watchmen immediately blew the horn to order smush88's unit to return to the city, but it did not work as well as they had hoped because only the captain himself managed to return to the city with all 12,000 of his magicians killed while none of the Falenians archers was down.

"Take a bite of your own medicine, Harmonians," said the victorious Solstice as he led his archers back to the Falenian camp.

Confident that they had managed to eliminate the Harmonian magicians, Lord Dredd led his cavalry unit numbering 35,667 soldiers to launch a quick follow up attack to finish off the Harmonian army. Nutflush knew that the backbone of the Harmonian army was their excellent magicians, and to the surprise of the Harmonian commanders, he sent out another magician unit. This time it was ndbsolar who let the 7,500 magicians. As the horsemen of Falena approached nearer to the city, Lord Dredd was surprised by the report that their front unit had found trouble controlling their horses. Lord Dredd could not believe what his eyes saw as the front unit of his siswai'aman elite cavalry was totally tied up with the roots of the trees surrounding the pathway. While they were tied up and could not move against the forces of mother earth, fireballs after fireballs were dropped from the sky and burned 7,500 of Lord Dredd's soldiers to death. The Sovereign's Sword of Falena knew that he had been defeated and ordered the surviving soldiers of his unit to return back to the Falenian camp as the Harmonian magicians silently returned to the city of Dusumnek unharmed in any way.

"The next unit would be crucial, my Queen," said the defeated Lord Dredd, expecting the queen to have a solution. The queen smirked and ordered the 22,554 infantry soldiers under Silver Pirate's lead to attack Harmonian army for the decisive battle of the day.

In the mean time, Nutflush's order was a simple one, "Prepare my battle armor. I'm heading out with my Warrior Priests."

There were 14,248 cavalrymen under Nutflush's leadership, and they were all ready to march out of the city's gate to defend their beloved port city of Dusumnek. Unlike the anticipation of the final battle, the battle itself was one-sided and an anti-climax with The Warrior Priest easily defeating the Mercury's Marines unit. With the Harmonian cavalrymen not losing a single soldier, the foot soldiers of Falena were scattered all over the place while trying to return to their camp. Once they were there, the number showed that only 8,306 of them managed to return safely.

Queen Sophita was left with no choice but to admit defeat to the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. They sent a messenger to the Harmonian camp while holding the white flag. Nutflush opened up the letter and read.

We admit defeat this time and we will leave Dusumnek's shore early in the morning. Do not mistake this as if Queendom of Falena admitting being inferior to the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. We shall return someday and Dusumnek will be ours.

Governor Nutflush smiled to himself and thought that he would look forward for their future encounter if ever. Though the battle between the two nations had ended with one victor and one loser, both Governor Nutflush and Queen Sophita left the battlefield with one same thing in their mind, mutual respect to each other.
