When the first Nagarean inhabitants arrived at Bukhara they found deserted ruins which had obviously been empty for a very long time. These enterprising pioneers then built their town on top of these ruins using the materials which were already there as and when they could. This has resulted in some extremely strange architecture as the previous inhabitants had very different methods of building things. The town has been studied extensively but it is still unconfirmed if these were in fact Sindar ruins or not. Even now many underground passages and rooms are still being found buried beneath the sands complete with occasional treasures and so is often frequented by licensed treasure hunters from all over the country.
