Shaded by large groves of palm trees Damghan is a bustling town which thrives on the main trade routes across northern and central Nagarea. Nowhere else can you find such a large selection of markets with a huge variety of goods available. The unofficial black market present here is not quite as large as the conventional marketplaces but far more profitable to those who know where to look. As well as normal trade goods there is a quarterly horse market where the finest steeds in Nagarea are showcased and sold, attracting buyers and spectators from all over the country. Such events are usually treated as national holidays with state funded entertainment for all visitors.
