I'd go for Luc, being in the first 2 games then turning out to be the main villain in 3 is pretty tragic to me and there's a dark history behind that seemingly innocent face of his.

I would pick Tir, simply for the reasons that he has the Soul Eater, all the struggle he went through and he's not all that goody-goody like most of the Suikoden heroes.

Fortunately it is, he's my favorite videogame villain thus far.
